Empowering School Leaders to Transform Their Schools

Lynch Leadership Academy's mission is to develop a powerful and sustainable network of highly effective leaders at schools, within systems, and in communities, who will disrupt inequity and dramatically increase the opportunities and outcomes for all students.

What We Do

The most critical challenge facing our nation's schools is one of leadership: Up to 50 percent of principals resign by their third year, and 24 out of 25 teachers report leadership as the #1 determinant of their own longevity at a given school.

We address this by increasing the number of high performing leaders within a region and helping mobilize a critical mass to improve their schools, systems and communities. Building the capacity of principals and helping them assert their leadership—individually and collectively—enables principals to improve student outcomes. On-site support and a strong network increases the sustainability of the principalship. Working across all levels of leadership within a district and school community exponentially enhances a common vision, cohesion of practices, and the pace of improvement.
